While we are all familiar with the Pumpkin Spiced Lattes, Starbucks knows that staying relevant means changing. So they have come out with some new menu items to keep things fresh.
The tried and true Pumpkin Spiced Latte. A fan favorite since 2003. Starbucks rolled out the Pumpkin Spiced Latte and it almost instantly became one of the world's favorite drinks. It has become the subject of millions of memes and has launched thousands of copycat beverages.
Milk foam, which has historically been reserved for hot beverages - is now available for all of us cold drink lovers. While there is already a wide assortment of flavors to choose from at Starbucks, they are making Pumpkin Spice available for the Holiday Season. Maybe peppermint will be available for Winter? Please check back ;)
Another seasonal addition to the Starbucks menu is Apple Flavored beverages. If you are a self proclaimed Apple Pie lover, then you may want to stick around for this section. Starbucks is one of the first coffee shops to break out with this new genre of fruity festive drinks. They have debuted an Apple Crisp Macchiato and a hot version.
We have the Pumpkin Spice Frappuccino, a fan favorite and more of a dessert than a beverage. If you are attending a Friendsgiving you could bring a few Pumpkin Spiced Frappuccinos for your offering- they are sure to be a crowd pleaser.
Come Winter or November 6th we will have these other seasonal drinks to look forward to as well. Winter coffee drinks are warm and fuzzy just like the season itself.
If you are a big fan of eggnog, then you should definitely give the Eggnog Latte a try. We’re not saying you should spike it, but we are saying that you definitely can spike it. Hot espresso, steamed warm milk, and a unique eggnog flavor make this holiday beverage one of a kind.
If you are a particularly big fan of Nutella or a serious hazelnut in the coffee fan, then this might be the beverage for you. Try the new Starbucks Chestnut Praline Latte. A hot shot of espresso, with your steamed milk of choice, and a sweet and nutty chestnut praline flavor, this is the perfect beverage to drink while you are curled up by the fireplace. Or if you live somewhere warmer, may we suggest you try this beverage on ice!
Next up on our Starbucks Holiday List is the Irish Cream Cold Brew. But what is Irish Cream you might ask? Irish cream is a traditionally liquor based flavor, but Irish cream in the cold brew is a non-alcoholic version. The Starbucks cold brew is richer than a traditional iced coffee and pairs perfectly with the Irish Cream Cold Brew.
If you are looking for caffeine but craving the added sweetness of hot chocolate, give the toasted white chocolate mocha a try. A rich hot coffee, mixed with the sweet white chocolate mocha flavor makes for a deliciously comforting winter beverage.
If your favorite ice cream is mint chocolate chip, this drink is for you. The rich and minty peppermint mocha tastes like a peppermint patty, mint chocolate chip ice cream, and amazing coffee all at once. This beverage is also particularly good iced. Lean into the holidays with a Starbucks white chocolate peppermint mocha.
Caramel lovers unite for the Caramel Brulee Latte. One of the original holiday beverages introduced by Starbucks back in the early two thousands. The Caramel Brulee Latte is one, or two shots of hot espresso, steamed milk of your choice, and a delicious caramel flavor inclusion. It even has crunchy caramel bits and a caramel drizzle on top of it. This flavor is so popular it can be almost perfectly recreated throughout the year.
A melt in your mouth, buttermilk biscuit with creme fraiche, dried cranberries, orange zest, and vanilla icing. This scone pairs perfectly with a Pumpkin Spice Latte, the Eggnog Latte, and the Chestnut Praline Latte. Or eat it by itself in a pile of dried leaves, for the full fall effect.
The Cranberry Bliss Bar is the most socially acceptable way to eat dessert in the morning, and the closest thing you can get to a piece of cheesecake in a coffee shop. The Cranberry Bliss Bar says it all right in the name, it is pure bliss. Made from a blondie cake, topped with sweet cream cheese icing, dried cranberries, and a white orange drizzle. You can also purchase these by the tray for holiday gifts.
For all of the cheese danish lovers out there, there is the spiced sugar plum danish. A festive take on the classic coffee shop food, the cheese danish has a warm spiced filling.
A simple, but well-loved classic, the Snowman Cookie is a sure way to put a smile on a child's face. A shortbread cookie with icing and a friendly smile, the snowman cookie pairs well with a kid's hot cocoa!
It’s hard not to love a cake pop. Cake on a stick is one of the best inventions since hot dog on a stick, but unlike hot dog on a stick, cake on a stick pairs well with coffee. The snowman cake pop is a cute chocolatey treat, with a smiling face to look at while you nibble.
The candy cane cake pop is a slightly more complex flavor and an excellent addition to white peppermint mocha. Again, if you are a fan of peppermint patties and mint chocolate chip ice cream- and of course candy canes, you will love the candy cane cake pop. A chocolate cake base with a white chocolate icing exterior, and candy cane chunks all over it. YUM!
